Message	Rub it hard, or soft, don't matter what strokes. It won't harm the glass. Just don't let it touch anything. Use steel wool by it itself. Then after you're done, it's super clean and clear. Don't even need window cleaner. :) Try it on a spot first and see how it works for you. I pratically have to use steel wool on my Entire driver and passenger side windows due to the fact that when I removed tint, a very thin sticky part stayed on, on most parts..
